Ancient Symposium collectible Greek wine and sculptural presentation

The story

Five years in the making

Our research explored ancient Greek wine, vinification, vessels, bottling and presentation. We studied evidence in museum collections and the place of wine in the symposium, then applied that knowledge to the vinification and presentation of this wine. The limited 2017 vinification combines Greek grape varieties with the artistry of our family.

The collector’s edition

A bottle with a story in every detail

Numbered and signed

Each limited edition bottle has a leather label and is sealed with genuine beeswax. A real papyrus accompanies it with the story and information about the wine, its bottle number and the artists’ signatures.

Marble presentation case

The sculptural case is made from the same type of marble associated with the Parthenon. The naturally cool marble embraces the bottle and helps preserve its low temperature.

Symbols of the symposium

The case rests on heads of Dionysus, the god of wine and creative expression. Its wings are shaped from vines and grape clusters. The serpent symbolizes renewal, protection and health. Two kylikes complete the presentation.

The edition is offered as a collectible work. Ask us for the specific bottle number, condition, contents and delivery details before acquisition.
