Planning a corporate event in Athens means finding an activity that fits the people as well as the timetable. At Ancient Symposium in Kallithea, teams can explore Greek culture through clay sculpture, perfume making and wine tasting, with a programme arranged around the group’s size and available time.

A sculpture workshop for your team

Working with clay gives colleagues a shared starting point while leaving room for individual choices. In our sculpture workshop, participants create a face inspired by Hermes, with guidance from sculptor Manos Roussis. No previous sculpting experience is required.

The activity encourages observation and conversation: guests compare shapes, discover details and see how differently people approach the same subject. It can be a relaxed shared experience, without turning the session into a competition.

Our sculpture workshop accommodates up to 26 participants per session. Larger groups need a programme with smaller sessions or a combination of activities. Clay needs time to dry, so we also explain how to carry and care for the finished piece.

Perfume making inspired by the Twelve Olympian Gods

The perfume workshop offers another way to explore Greek mythology and make something personal. Participants discover scent combinations and create their own solid perfume inspired by the Twelve Olympian Gods.

Guests make their own choices within the guided activity and take their perfume home.

Perfume sessions accommodate up to 12 participants at a time. For a larger corporate group, we plan rotations so that each subgroup has its own time at the workstations. Ingredient sensitivities and any allergies should be discussed before the event.

Combine the activities with Greek wine and conversation

A wine tasting can complement the workshop and provide time for colleagues to share their creations and impressions. Sculpture, scent and wine offer different points of entry into the experience, which can be useful when a group includes people with different interests.

When requesting a proposal, let us know whether you would like wine tasting and light refreshments included. Dietary requirements and arrangements for guests who do not drink alcohol should be discussed during planning.

How we organise larger groups

A large group does not need to do everything at once. Depending on the chosen programme, one subgroup can join a workshop while others take part in another activity or spend time in the gallery. The sequence is agreed in advance so that the event has a clear flow.

The total duration depends on the number of guests, the activities selected and the time needed for transitions. Tell us the full window available, including arrival and departure, so that we can propose a realistic schedule. Workshop capacity is different from the total number of guests an event programme can accommodate.

Our venue is at 39 Doiranis Street, Kallithea, Athens. Companies and agencies can enquire about a private group programme in our space.

A sculpture workshop can also be arranged at another venue within Athens, subject to the location, layout, equipment and staffing requirements. Share details of your venue and the participant count so that we can assess the setup and provide a tailored quote. Off-site arrangements are confirmed individually.
